The artist behind the work
Imagecko2 — digital artist
The Work
I go by Imagecko2. I'm a digital artist working at the intersection of photography and imagination — layering textures, light, and fragments of memory into images that feel both familiar and strange.
My practice began with photography, but I quickly found that the camera only captured what was already there. I wanted to make what wasn't. Mixed media and photo manipulation became the language I needed — a way to dissolve the boundary between what I saw and what I felt.
Each piece starts with a single image, a texture, or sometimes just a mood I can't shake. From there it becomes a process of layering and subtracting — adding until the image holds something true, then pulling back until it breathes.
Process
I work primarily in Photoshop and Procreate, drawing from a personal archive of photographs, scanned textures, and found imagery. No two pieces follow the same path.
I'm drawn to the moment when a composition tips from constructed to inevitable — when it stops looking made and starts looking discovered.
Commissions & Licensing
I take on a limited number of commissions each year and am open to licensing discussions for editorial, commercial, and personal projects. If something in the gallery speaks to you, reach out.
